Lifesystems Launches First-Ever Tent: The Solo Peak

After decades of helping adventurers prepare for the unexpected, Lifesystems has turned its expertise to nights under canvas with the launch of its first-ever tent: the Solo Peak.

Built on nearly three decades of design innovation and trusted by outdoor enthusiasts worldwide, the Solo Peak represents a bold step forward for the brand. Drawing inspiration from the proven Venture Solo Bivi range, it’s designed to give hikers, bikepackers, fastpackers, and racers a reliable, minimalist shelter when every gram counts.

Made for Modern Adventures

With wild camping and ultralight travel more popular than ever, the Solo Peak has been optimised to deliver maximum functionality at the lightest possible weight. Tipping the scales at just 1kg including poles, pegs and repair kit, this one-person tent is built for those who value efficiency without sacrificing protection or comfort.

Its single-hoop aluminium frame and vertical foot pole create a stable and practical structure that pitches in minutes, keeping you prepared when conditions change fast. Inside, breathable mesh panels and integrated vents encourage airflow and minimise condensation, while the side door offers easy access and can be rolled up to enjoy views from your sleeping bag.

Tough, Reliable Shelter

As with every Lifesystems product, durability is at the heart of the design. The 20D siliconised ripstop nylon flysheet with taped seams provides long-lasting protection, while a 3,000mm hydrostatic head rating on both fly and groundsheet ensures you stay dry whatever the weather throws your way.

The Solo Peak also includes thoughtful touches such as a compact porch for stowing gear, a smooth-running YKK anti-snag zip, and Dyneema guy-lines for stability in high winds. When it’s time to pack up, the tent fits neatly into its own waterproof carry bag for simple storage in your pack.

Matt Jones, Brand Manager at Lifesystems:

"The Solo Peak builds on the success of our bivi range and taps into the growing demand for fastpacking gear. We saw an opportunity to create a well-priced, ultra lightweight tent that doesn’t compromise on functionality or durability. After over a year of development and testing it in the wild, we’re proud to launch a tent that delivers on every expectation."

Surviving Adventure, Under Canvas

From alpine ridgelines to multi-day bikepacking routes, the Solo Peak ULW Tent is a versatile companion for solo travellers who want to go further with less. Compact, weather-resistant, and purpose-built for speed, it’s the next step in Lifesystems’ mission to help you survive adventure.

The Solo Peak Tent is available now.
