I ordered two of these "I ordered two of these bottles as I wanted to have a hot and cold drink on my travels and had just purchased a new messenger bag with a bottle carrier in each end. These bottles fit perfectly. I got a black and a bronze coloured one. The black has a blasted finish and the bronze is shiny. They feel great in the hand and are very hard wearing and substantially built. On the bottom is a hard rubber insert which greatly aids stability when filling, and up top, the lid is a two piece affair. When first using the bottle you have to grip the lower part or it all comes off together. This frees up after a short while. Take off both pieces to fill and its an absolute breeze with very wide opening. Leave the bottom part on to make a plastic rim for comfortable drinking. Very easy to clean and nothing really to go wrong. Now on to their most important purpose, keeping drinks hot and cold. Hot drinks stay hot for a long time. The longest I have tried is around 9 hours and my coffee was as scolding hot as when I made it. I have a folding cup for the hot stuff, as you can seriously burn your lips/mouth if drinking hot drinks from this kind of bottle. I drink cold drinks directly and this works well. If you put ice in, it's still there for a good couple of hours and the drink is kept pleasantly cool for at least a full day. I've had no leaks at all and I make sure I regularly clean both seals so that this may continue. I'm very happy with my purchase and can honestly say these are the best quality I've ever had (I've had a few from amazon). I'd definitely recommend, especially at this price." — Craig N. (5/5)
Suchhhhhh a great bottle. Was "Suchhhhhh a great bottle. Was recommended to me by a friend to keep water super cold during the hot summer and it works. Unfortunately I’d say my tea was also unbearably hot for so long that I had to wait an hour to drink it. I really like the rubber bottom so it doesn’t clank, the sides you drink from are slanted and I like that too, and the top which could could easily hook to carry it. Bought two bottles for my "Bought two bottles for my fishing kit, one for soup and one for coffee, both do exactly what they are advertised to do i.e. keep things hot for a good length of time. The bottles were, also, purchased as an adjunct to the two thermal mugs I have been using for years these have now been relegated to instant noodle duty, very succesfully I might add, as the bottles are much easier to drink from and hold about 40% more than the mugs." — Alan E.
