Thermal mug "I have had similar thermal mugs from other manufacturers and this is so far the best I have used. It has a slightly smaller capacity than some makes (300ml compared to 330ml) but it keeps drinks hot longer than others I have tried. The paint finish seems tougher than others too. The internal seals and gaskets are better quality and heavier duty too. The best aspect is you can purchase replacements should they break or get lost (the valve is easily lost in my experience!). The only downside is the compartment in the lid like all others I have tried, gets damp from the contents of the main flask. As a result dried goods not in packets aren't great in there especially if you are out for several days. Fits my needs exactly. "Perfect for carrying drinks in rucksack or handbag. Slim, not clumsy and keeps drinks hot or cold for about 6 hours, depending on how often you open it. I have never understood the use of the pressure release cap, however. You do need two hands to open it, so it's no good for use while driving, but I wouldn't want to do that, anyway.
