Excellent piece of kit to keep in your bag "I hope I never need this. However, I took it out yesterday in the snow to review for my YouTube channel. I then realized that actually it's not just for emergency use. Torrential rain, do t take a Brolly just erect your shelter and have a break. Too windy to walk? Take a break and get in your shelter. Time for lunch but it's cold n wet? Erect your shelter and get in out of the weather. It creates a microclimate , the temperature goes up, you feel safe and all in the space of 20 seconds. Take a seat pad and enjoy real comfort, take food n a flask and now you're really comfortable. The window will get steamed up but a quick wipe ensures you can keep an eye on the weather outside. My only thing I would change is adding another vent to the opposite side of the current one. This would really cut down condensation. Otherwise I can totally recommend it" — david s. (5/5)
Live saver "Very impressive hope I never need it but if I do I know I will be protected from the elements" — Lee B. (5/5)
Practical for one person "Suitable for putting injured person in while awaiting rescue or having break. Has clear plastic at face level so can see out. Will probably also carry 2-4 person bothy shelter for weather protection. If you read the Mountain Rescue magazine (direct debit donators), you'll know most rescues take 2-4 hours before MR get to you, so something like this shelter will help you and should be in everyones rucksack." — Alun D.
