Midge protection that works "Really works for keeping midges out & the wide brim keeps the net away from the face. Visibility though the mesh is good. I've used head nets with a plastic visor before & they steam up in warm conditions so there's no problem with this hat net. It packs away easily. Having done lots of research "Having done lots of research and read many reviews, this one seems to have hit the button. It arrived quickly and is good quality/high value. Comfortable hat with quality fine mesh netting. The wide brim keeps the netting well away from your face, and it's nice and long so you tuck it into long sleeved shirt/top etc. I have the black mesh version and you can see out very easily. Easy to twist/fold up when you're done (it's a knack but easy to learn) and pack away in its pouch. I've not tried it in the field yet, but it's going to Ecuador with me for photography in the rain forest." — Abby (5/5)
