Midge&Mosquito Head Net "During the dry season, the Maasai Mara, Nairobi and Amboseli seem relatively safe in terms of mosquitoes—unlike Mombasa and Lake Victoria, where I would not risk being without a net. However, mosquitoes can still be found at airports and even inside both large and small aircraft. Amboseli is also very dusty, there are many flies on safari, and plenty of midges in the evening. The younger members of our group wore the net over a cap. It protected them from insects and dust and meant they did not have to worry about bites. One girl even slept in it despite having a large mosquito net over her bed, as it is impossible to guarantee an insect-free night in the middle of the wilderness. The net is both practical and reassuring. Its small, convenient pouch fits into any pocket, and worn over a nice cap, it even looks good in photos." — Elena T. (5/5)

Review of Mosquito and Midge Head Net by jeff s "Ordering and delivery were a doddle. Won't be using the product until Costa Rica in a few months. Fits over a large brimmed hat so doesn't feel claustrophobic and doesn't affect visibility. Bring on those mozzies." — Jeff S. (5/5)
